The Empire State Building
Once a wonder of the world, the Empire State Building is now a massive building preserved only for the protection of the people. It's run by the NZDA; there are guards all around it with guns, ready to let people in - if they can pay. People sneak into the building as often as they can and make homes in the upper levels where soldiers patrol less frequently.

Wal-Mart
This iconic shopping center of America is now a shadow of what it once was; the place has been ransacked, and occasionally, zombies can be seen wandering around. If you're brave enough - or desperate enough - you can salvage food or other useful items. It's not stacked to the ceiling, but there's enough to keep someone alive. Rumor has it that there's a box of Twinkies in the back!
